How Much Does a Bounce House Rental Cost in Riverside and Orange County?
We get this question more than any other, so here is the plain-English version of how pricing works around here and what makes the number go up or down.
What does a bounce house rental typically cost in Riverside and Orange County?
Every company prices a little differently, but after setting up hundreds of parties from Riverside to Irvine, here is the general shape of what families pay. These are industry ranges, not our menu, so treat them as a starting point.

What is actually included in that price?
This is where two quotes that look the same can turn out very different. When you compare companies, ask what the number covers.
With us, a standard rental includes
- Delivery to your driveway or yard
- Professional setup, plus the blower and extension cord
- Anchoring (stakes on grass, sandbags on cement and turf)
- A full sanitizing before the unit goes on the truck
- Takedown at the end of the party
A few things that are sometimes extra, with us or with anyone:
- Delivery beyond the core service area. More on this below.
- Generators. If your setup spot is more than about 50 to 75 feet from a standard outlet, or you are at a park with no power, you will need a generator. These typically add somewhere in the $75 to $150 range in our industry.
- Long-distance or difficult access. Stairs, elevators, narrow side gates, or a long carry from the truck can add labor time, so it is worth mentioning at booking.
- Add-ons. Kids tables and chairs, a ball pit from our soft play collection, yard games, or a claw machine are priced separately.
How do delivery fees work?
Delivery is the piece most families forget to budget for, and it is usually the reason a quote from a company two cities over comes in higher than one from someone local. Most rental companies in Southern California charge based on distance from their warehouse, either as a flat fee per zone or a per-mile rate once you are outside a free radius.
We are based in Riverside and deliver across Riverside and Orange County, including Corona, Irvine, Eastvale, Anaheim, Tustin, and more than a dozen other cities. Riverside and Corona sit right in our backyard, so delivery there is about as low as it gets. Irvine and the rest of Orange County are a regular run for us, and the fee is calculated automatically when you enter your address on the quote form. No guessing, no “call for pricing.”

What makes a bounce house cost more (or less)?
- 1The unit itselfSize, age, and style are the biggest factors. A crisp white 13×13 with a fresh sanitizing is going to cost more than a faded cartoon jumper that has been in service for a decade. You are paying for how it looks in photos and how clean it is when your kids climb in.
- 2The day of the weekSaturdays are the most requested day in Riverside and Orange County, so some companies price weekends higher or require a minimum. Weekday and Sunday parties can be a little easier on the budget and are much easier to book last minute. Our weekends typically book 2 to 3 weeks out, so plan ahead if your date is set.
- 3The seasonSpring and early summer are peak party season. Late fall and winter are quieter, and inland areas like Riverside stay warm enough for outdoor parties well into November.
- 4Rental lengthMost SoCal companies price by the day rather than by the hour, so a 4-hour party and an 8-hour party often cost the same. If you are on the fence, take the longer window.
- 5Surface and setupGrass, turf, and cement are all fine. We just need to know which one so we bring stakes or sandbags.
Are cheaper bounce houses worth it?
Sometimes. If your budget is tight and you have a group of energetic 8-year-olds who will not care what color the walls are, a basic jumper does the job.
Where the cheaper option gets risky is on the things you cannot see in the listing photo. Ask any company whether they are licensed and insured (parks, venues, and many HOAs in Irvine require a certificate of insurance before setup), whether the unit is cleaned between every rental, and how they anchor it. Those are the things that actually protect your kids, and they are usually what separates a $150 rental from a $300 one.
